Investors in People
Investors in People (IiP) is a national standard that provides a framework for improving business performance and competitiveness. The framework uses a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives.
IiP motivates people and sets in place training plans to deliver the skills the organisation needs to flourish. The process is cyclical and is designed to support a culture of continuous improvement.
There is a network of IiP advisors throughout Scotland, usually funded by the local enterprise companies (LECs), although sometimes a LEC will sub-contract the delivery of IiP advice.
