Staff at Kirckaldy hair dressing salon, Anderson French are discovering the fringe benefits of e-learning thanks to learndirect scotland for business.
Staff at Anderson French completed a number of Microsoft approved courses, as well as focusing on courses that would be of direct benefit to its core business, including presentation skills and customer care.
Sue Grundy, administrative assistant, said: “The IT courses were particularly useful, as my colleagues and I had next to no computer experience.
“The other courses we completed were customer focused and they are already beginning to have a positive impact upon our business.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our e-learning experience and I would recommend it to any business that has limited time and money to invest in employee development.”
